Expandable garden hose is a “magic” hose, which can shapeshift its appearance and expand to 3 times its original size. Lightweight for easy carrying and save the place when store. This design makes the garden maintenance easier, but it will not work without its good partners – the covers, the water guns and the connectors and etc. Apart from the leading performers (hoses), it cannot ignore that they also play a significant role in the magic show. All of them work together as a cooperative team to help the gardener enjoy the show smoothly and get happy ending.
So how much do you know about hose’s partnersThe connectors are the topic in this article this time to understand how they work. Let us to visit some regular connectors as bellow.
Normally our faucet connectors are mainly made of plastic, or aluminum alloy with brass plating, or full brass, or mix. They are designed to attach two kinds of faucets (sometimes can be mixed match), Threaded Faucet and Non-Threaded Faucet, whose regular diameter is 15-25mm.
3/4" Direct Attach Faucet & Hose Connector.
The female threaded side is suitable for 3/4" male threaded faucet, and the other side is to attach hose directly.
3/4" Female Threaded Pacifier-Shaped Connector.
This adaptor is suitable for 3/4" male threaded faucet, and the pacifier-shaped side (convex part) attaches with the hose quick connector.
3/4" & 1/2" Female Threaded Pacifier-Shaped Connectors Set.
The set is suitable for two sizes and has a transformation.
3/4" & 1/2" And 2-Way Water Splitter Set.
The set also has a transformation to suit for two sizes, and is divided into 2 directions for water to flow by. Next attach two 3/4" female threaded adaptors.

Quick Attach Faucet & Hose Connector.
Attach the faucet with pushing down the outermost shell of this connector. In addition to this, it is able to attach with the pacifier-shaped connectors.
Pacifier-Shaped Universal Faucet Connector.
An inserter is inside the wider circle side, remain or pull out it to meet the regular diameters of faucet mouth. Attach the faucet with the wider circle side, and then twist the handle of clamp to fasten or loosen.
For the pacifier-shaped side, it is to plug into the hose quick connector.
Male Threaded Universal Faucet Connector.
An inserter is inside the wider circle side, remain or pull out it to meet the regular diameters of faucet mouth. Attach the faucet with the wider circle side, and then twist the handle of clamp to fasten or loosen.
For the male threaded side, it is for female threaded connector.

Usually, we had already installed and fixed the connector sets with hose and fabric cover after leaving our factory. Sometimes hose protective sleeve is required. We have regular three types of sets to deal with normal usage requirements. They are mainly made of plastic, or aluminum, or aluminum alloy with brass plating, or full brass, or mix.
Both sides of hose are equipped with same shape of hose quick connectors. Push down the outermost shell, then let the non-threaded faucet, or the pacifier-shaped side of the threaded faucet connector and the water gun in.
Moreover, there is one connector, which can attach two hose quick connectors together if needed.

The male threaded side is for the female threaded water gun.

The male threaded side with valve is for the female threaded water gun, which can adjust the ON and OFF.
But the ABS connector is inverse to the above-mentioned metal connector.
